This program is designed for psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, counselors and other mental health practitioners who have had experience in working with children.

This work is effective with a variety of behavioral manifestations and symptoms of children, particularly those related to anger, child abuse, loss and grief, divorce and other life events that effect children and thwart healthy growth.
COST: The cost of the training is $2500.00, exclusive of accommodation.
Dr. Oaklander has been conducting this highly successful training since 1981 drawing people world-wide providing a multi-cultural experience. The group size is limited and the program fills quickly. LODGING: Lodging information will be sent to those who register. The training is held at the El Prado Inn where we have a block of rooms ranging from $100 to $125, depending on the room. We also make every effort to provide you with a roommate to share the cost if you are interested. We handle all reservations. Santa Barbara is a beautiful city located between the mountains and the ocean, and draws many visitors, particulary in the summer.

Schedule: We meet from 9:00 to 4:30 (sometimes a bit later), Monday through Thursday and 9:00 to 12:30 on Fridays. The weekend is free.

Payment information: If you are not accepted into the program, your deposit will be refunded in full.
THE BALANCE OF $1,750.00 IS DUE BY MAY 1st unless other arrangements have been made
If you need to cancel before the balance is paid, your deposit will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee. If you need to cancel after the full amount of $2,500 is paid, you must do so two months before the program begins (by May 16) to receive a refund, less $50. If we can fill your space from the waiting list, a refund will be returned to you at any time (less the $50 processing fee.)
OUTSIDE THE U.S.: Registration must be paid in U.S. funds by an international money order or a cashier's check from an international bank. If you prefer to transfer money directly into Dr. Oaklander's account, please contact us to make these arrangements. Please be advised that you are responsible for any bank fees on money transfers. These can be paid upon your arrival.
